Masquerade was bred by Vermilyea Farms and sold as a baby to a lady new into miniature horses.  This lady called me to see if I would be interested in showing her and said she was pretty.  I couldn't believe what a stunning head she had when I first saw her.  She loved to show and loved to show off!   She had been purchase back by Vermilyea Farms later on as broodmare and was then given to Aspen for a show mare.  Aspen loved showing Masquerade and they made quite a little pair.  If they had an "old lady" halter class at the shows, this girl would win it every time.  It is hard to believe Masquerade in her 20's now and she is happily enjoying her retirement.
